A little review.
Russia invades and annexes Crimea from Ukraine. They then invade Eastern Ukraine. President Obama levels heavy sanctions on Russia and a number of Oligarchs disrupting among many economic sanctions including a Trillion Dollar oil partnership with Exxon and Russian state oil company. Fast forward to 2016: Russia (Putin) meddles in our election and promotes Trump to be president with a full blown campaign of misinformation and election sabotage using social media to promote pro-Trump propaganda. Over the next 2 ½ years an investigation takes place when our intelligence community; with 100% agreement, concludes that Russia meddled in our election and hacked the email server of the DNC and Clintons campaign mgr and releases them via Wiki-Leaks. Trump supports Putins claim that Russia had nothing to do with our election although the Intelligence community says it was them. What does Putin have on Trump that he would get him to side with the Russian over his own hand picked intel people?
Fast Forward to 2019:
Trump tells newly elected Ukraine President that the military aid that was appropriated and promised to Ukraine comes with conditions. Trump would like for the President of Ukraine to “do him a favor though”. The very structure of his sentence demonstrates that a condition was being imposed. I might ask you for a favor, but that isn’t conditional. It’s merely a request that you might say yes or no to without consequences. But if after discussion of the arms that were promised to you, I say, I’m sure you need them, but… I’d like you to do us a favor though. I’ve just made the delivery of the promised arms conditional on your doing me the favor that I’m about to ask. You are in desperate need of the arms, but now I’ve set a series of demands before you can get them.
1. I want you to investigate the Bidens and provide me with dirt on my probable opponent in the election
2. I want you to announce publicy that it was Ukraine that meddled in our election on behalf of Hillary Clinton to harm Trump’s campaign, and fully exonerate Russia as being involved in the election.
3. I want you to provide us with Hillary’s server which is hidden in Ukraine.
In other words, Ukraine must agree to lie for Trump to get the arms that were promised. Ukraine must also provide oppo research on Joe Biden. Quid Pro Quo is a normal business practice. This for that. It’s done all the time. However, when it’s used in this way it’s called Extortion/Bribery. And that’s criminal. Our Constitution states that impeachment is the remedy to the executive being found guilty in the Senate of Treason, Bribery, or other High Crimes or Misdemeanors.
Trump will be impeached. The question is will the Republicans have the balls to find him guilty and remove him from office? Donald Trump has stated in a phone call that he wants Ukraine to provide dirt on his rival and then he’ll release the funds for the military aid. You do this, and I’ll do that. Ukraine is in no position to argue with Trump. They need the weapons to hold off Russia. But to get them, they must get involved in our upcoming election and take the blame for 2016 which would clear Russia and make Putin happy, Plus they must find dirt on Trump’s rival. So why is Ukraine the target of all this crap? It goes back to the invasion by Russia. Who gets hurt the most by our providing weapons and anti-tank missiles to Ukraine? Russia. In helping Ukraine, we hurt Russia, and Trump doesn’t want to do anything that harms Russia. So Russia would prefer that we don’t provide Ukraine with anything and Trump will do what he’s told by Putin because Putin knows exactly what Trump’s weakness is. It’s his ego. Trump has a fascination with “Strong Men”. Putin, Erdogan, Xi, Kim, Dutarte. If Putin flatters Trump’s ego, he can get him to do anything. Trump is putting Ukraine in an impossible position. And he’s doing it to help Putin and Russia. If Ukraine states publically to the world that it was them that interfered in our election and not Russia and that they did it and framed Russia as the culprit, that takes the spotlight off of Putin and puts it squarely on Putins enemy…the President of Ukrain. What’s the likelihood of us ever sending weapons to a country that meddled in our election? We cancel the weapons deal and the winner here is Putin who now knows that we won’t support Ukraine and it’s Russia that wins and takes Ukraine. We leave the Kurds to the Turks and Ukraine to the Russians. And every country on the planet that thinks that the US is their ally is now put on notice that just like Trump who thinks everything is about him, our country now states that it’s all about us. You need us more than we need you. If you want protection then you pay. And that payment may come in anyway that Trump sees fit. That’s how the Mob works. I’ve always wondered, what does Putin have on Trump to make him such a puppet. At first, I thought it must be the Pee tape as if that would embarrass a man that has no shame. Then I thought it has to be about money. Trump is always driven by money, but selling out his country for material gain seemed too easy to explain Trump’s bizarre obedience to Putin. But I don’t think it’s either of those things. What do we know about Putin and Trump? We know that Putin is former KGB and a master at manipulation of people. That’s really all we need to know about him when his opposite is Trump. Trump’s weakness is easy to see. The whole world can see it. He’s a malignant narcissist and completely motivated by a need to feed his massive ego. His ego is on display all the time. He’s rich, he’s smart, he’s a stable genius, only he can fix our problems. He’s the most pathetically insecure individual anybody has ever seen as a head of state. He constantly needs attention and and for his ego to be stroked, because underneath all the bluster he’s the most childish man in the world. He has the emotional instability of a 4th grader and then we put that person in a room for 2 ½ hours with a former KGB officer and watch what happens.
Trump is no match for Putin. We’re placing a child that plays checkers; badly, against a man that is an expert at Chess and the results are predictable. Trump kisses Putins ass because Putin will flatter him to get what he wants and Trump is a sucker for flattery. He’ll do anything for you if you tell him how great he is. So what does Putin have on Trump to make Trump do his bidding? Nothing. Trump simply wants to be part of the Strong Man club and Putin is the guy that gives him the cred he needs to be seen as a “Strong Man”. When you realize what a weak person Trump is, and how hopelessly obvious his insecurities impact everything he thinks and does, you can understand why Putin finds him a useful idiot that can be so easily manipulated by a KGB expert.
